Total Vehicle Protection Plan
A total protection plan is just that, a plan to totally protect your vehicle. There are thousands of parts on your vehicle that have the potential to fail, and with the protection plans available here at Randy Kuehl Honda your vehicle will be back on the road with little to no cost to you. The plans available include more than total coverage of your vehicle. Total Protection Plans come with rental reimbursement, towing, roadside assistance, emergency travel interruption, manufacturer’s warranty deductible, and renewable coverage.
Rental Reimbursement: When you have a failure due to a covered part that requires your vehicle to be held at an authorized repair facility overnight we will reimburse up to forty dollars ($40) per day for six (6) days, not to exceed two hundred forty dollars ($240) per occurrence, from a licensed rental facility (up to fifty dollars ($50) per day for eight (8) days with the rental car upgrade surcharge). The above is not payable if you have other substitute transportation coverage available. You must incur this expense between the date of breakdown and the date the repairs to the covered parts are completed.
Towing: MasterTech will reimburse up to seventy-five dollars ($75) per occurrence for towing expenses when a covered breakdown occurs. If you return to the selling dealer, then reimbursement is available up to one hundred dollars ($100) per occurrence, plus an additional twenty-five dollars ($25) if over fifty (50) miles from the selling dealer, for a maximum of one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125) per occurrence.
Roadside Assistance: Emergency road service benefits are provided up to one hundred dollars ($100) per occurrence. Benefits are available for towing, fluid delivery, vehicle extrication assistance, battery start service, spare tire mounting assistance, and lock-out service. Service is provided twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week at the eight hundred phone number. You don’t need to worry about the bill, you just sign and go.
Emergency Travel Interruption: If you are more than one hundred (100) miles from home when you have a covered breakdown, MasterTech will pay up to one hundred dollars ($100) per day, for a maximum of five hundred dollars ($500) per occurrence, for commercial lodging and food.
Manufacturer’s Warranty Deductible: When a breakdown is covered by a warranty issued by the manufacturer of your vehicle, MasterTech will reimburse you up to a maximum of one hundred dollars ($100), if a deductible applies.
Renewable Coverage: You may be eligible to purchase an extension contract for your covered vehicle from the original selling dealer prior to the original contract expiration date.
