After the birth of our first born son in 1994, my husband had to sell his motorcycle and buy a 4-door car. We came into your dealership and drove out with a new Honda Civic. My husband has babied this car almost as much as he has our kids! 4 kids, 271,073 miles, and 16 1/2 years later his car has finally hit an "injury" that is unrepairable making it unsafe to drive. Even though my husband is the General Manager of Schenker Logistics and drives dignitaries from his company around when they come to town, he has accepted the razzling from others and refused to trade in his car. The car mechanically is still sound -- great engine and still gets 39 miles per gallon! It's just literally crumbling around him both inside and out. We never imagined 16 years ago that he would still be driving this car nor did we envision the impact it would have on us. it has driven us on many, many vacations and was reliable for all the miles it shows. My husband is really struggling with moving on to a new car, but I can guarantee you it will be a Honda again! Unfortunately we have moved out to Ohio and won't be able to visit your store, but please know the quality and durability of the vehicles you are representing!

(A little history first) Our 15 1/2 year old 94 Honda Accord from Randy Kuehl with almost 185,000 miles on it succumbed to old age and needed a few more dollars in repairs that I was willing to spend. I really hated to give it up since it had been such a phenominal vehicle with practically no problems till towards the end! (It still ran good but major AC problems and a few other things.) I attribute its long life to the Randy Kuehl Service Department. Any time we had a problem, all it took was a phone call and we were quickly accommodated. You will never find a dealership that is more conscientious and stands behind its work better than this place!
We decided it was time to get a new car and of course a Honda from Randy Kuehl was our first choice. We worked with salesman Chanin Dircks who was wonderful to deal with. We dickered back-and-forth during a couple of visits, a few good-humored emails and I believe we got an excellent deal. Chanin was not high pressure and presented the product superbly and was truly concerned about our wants and needs. He made us aware of all options and pricing, financing, etc. Since the old '94 was top of the line back in its day, we wanted a new car with all the latest features and decided on the Accord EXL. We added remote start, fog lights and a few other things. I have never been one to buy extended warranties but after Jon McGraw, the finance gentleman, explained all the features and benefits we decided to purchase it. Today's cars are electronic, very high tech and we figured it just might be worth it since we keep a vechicle for a long time! Jon spent a lot of time going over the options available for the extended service plan. He gets an A+!
Chanin spent well over an hour with us delivering the car and went over every feature and showed us how everything operated. He didn't miss one detail and even programmed my cel phone so the Blue Tooth system in the car will provide hands free use. I was tweaked! Chanin gets an A++!
I have worked in retail management sales/service for 40 years and I know what it takes to satisfy customers. Chanin and Jon were great to work with like all other employees who have helped us over the years. If you are in need of a vehicle, you are cheating yourself if you don't give Randy Kuehl Honda a shot! And NO, I'm not a relative and I didn't get a penny off for saying all these nice things. It is just a great place to do business!

I was looking to buy a new Honda Fit and had heard good things about this dealership from a friend. After looking at websites I requested quotes and information from 4 dealerships and Randy Kuehl was the quickest to respond. Justin was incredible. My place of work and hours make phone conversations difficult, and Justin was able to answer all of my questions in the way that worked best for me. When it came time to do the paperwork at the dealership Justin and Ray had it all set up and ready to go so no time was wasted. The dealership is on the smaller side, but very well organized and clean. Ray kept me in the loop the entire time we were waiting for the car to come in and I never had to guess what was going on at any given time. When my car came in Ray took the time to make sure I understood how everything worked before I drove off the lot. I haven't had my car for long, but I already love it and feel comfortable contacting Randy Kuehl with any concerns along the way. Everyone made sure to give me all the contact info, and Ray even showed me around the service department! Great experience all around and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new or used car. I had a great experience with Randy Kuehl on my second lease, just as good as the first lease. Chanin was great about keeping me in the loop on the progress of finding my vehicle. The monthly payment was very close to what I paid previously, which made me happy.

We would highly recommend Scott Workman and Randy Kuehl Honda. This is the second time we have purchased from Scott at Randy Kuehl, and each time, Scott worked hard to locate the right vehicle at the right price for our family. This time our 2001 Odyssey was totaled in an accident, and we needed a replacement ASAP. Scott kept us informed on available 2010 Odysseys, financing options, and expedited the delivery process. I have no doubt that we will continue to use Randy Kuehl as our auto dealer of choice.

Chanin was knowledgeable and friendly. They gave me a good deal on my trade in and on the new Honda Ridgeline. The service department contacted me right away to take care of the undercoating and had the service completed before they said that they would. The service department also gave me a loaner car to use while they were undercoating my new truck.

I've been a Toyota driver for over ten years encompassing 6 different vehicles so it was tough for me to come to Honda. Isaiah did a nice job and was friendly and we came to a reasonable deal. He worked hard to find the Ridgeline I wanted and I was appreciative of that. My only complaint was that after the deal was made I didn't get enough communication from him until I called to ask the status. After that, he did a nice job of keeping me informed. I thought the process of picking up the vehicle was a bit drawn out but I wouldn't want to put that on Isaiah and I tend to be a bit impatient and when I think I have a definite time for an appointment I expect that that is the time that things will be done. I am looking forward to working with the people there and hopeful that the experience will be as good as what I have been used to with Toyata.

I needed a used car highly rated by Consumer Reports, one that is Certified, and one with low mileage. Randy Kuehl Honda's Isaiah Townsend was knowledge kable, patiently answered my questions, encouraged several test drives, and used the US Government's online auto data to confirm the car's reliability and safety. All at Randy Kuehl Honda were friendly and helpful and I payed a good price in relation to my budget for a used car purchase. I would highly recommend this dealership, salesperson, Isaiah Townsend, and the Honda Civic.

Before we stopped in to actually look around, I spoke with Isaiah Townsend and exchanged emails with him. This helped us get some preliminary info ahead of time, and helped us save time the day we got our new Honda Accord. Isaiah was/is very friendy and helpful. He gave us the info we needed. Even after the sale, I had some questions, and he was glad to answer them, and answerd quickly! Assuming we sitll live in eastern Iowa when we are ready for our next new car, you can bet we will call Isaiah first.

Outstanding experience purchasing a new Ridgeline. Ray went above and beyond in his meticulous knowledge and attention to detail in explaining this vehicle and also addressing any questions that I had. Ray made sure I understood everything and went through a thorough introduction when the vehicle was ready for pickup. I live approximately 50 miles from the dealer. During the process Ray would call with any questions or ideas. When vehicle was ready I drove to dealer and picked up. If you go to Randy Kuehl Honda make sure to ask for Ray.

Looking to replace an aging minivan and had narrowed our choices down to 3 choices with the Odyssey being one of them. Also looking at getting a closeout deal on 2010 model.
Our initial stop was right around closing time and it was busy. As we were driving off, Chanin stopped us briefly to invite us back. We took him up on it and are glad we did. He is knowledgeable about the vehicle and seemed genuinely interested in earning our business rather than just having it.
In the end we got a fair price based upon what I found on Edmunds.com and a couple of other sites. There was some salesmanship in terms of add-ons and pricing, but not more than expected and not pushy in any way - it was always respectfully done. We got the vehicle we wanted. We got treated well and are comfortable that we'll continue to get treated well by the service staff and others.
Bottom line is that we felt at home not only with the vehicle and deal that we got, but with the dealer as well. We would highly recommend Chanin as he was great to work with.
